Negotiating Team 2014

As you may be aware the Current APOC Collective agreement expires on March 31st 2014.

The Association expects difficult negotiations moving forward and is requesting your assistance for the upcoming discussions and negotiations.

We have heard from all levels of the Corporation on the financial state of Canada Post, including the recent open forums conducted with businesses, local politicians, and individuals in different locations across the country on what the future state of Canada Post may be.

We need to be cognizant of what we bring to the table, and be prepared for what we anticipate and suspect will be some tough and complex discussions and topics from the Corporation’s side.

The APOC negotiating team will be formally meeting the week of January 13 through to the 17th 2014 to prepare and organize.

The (Negotiation’s Demands Form) is on the website under the tab “documents” for all members who wish to bring forward their suggestions to the negotiation team.

We request that all BRANCHES hold a special meeting between now and the first week of January to collect any negotiation demands, and forward them to the National office no later than closing January 10th 2014.

Fraternally.
