Canada Post and APOC reach tentative agreement
A joint message from Canada Post and the Association of Postal Officials of Canada
Canada Post and the Association of Postal Officials of Canada (APOC) have reached a new tentative collective agreement.
The new agreement, subject to ratification by APOC-represented employees, would be effective from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2030.
The tentative agreement follows months of respectful and collaborative discussions between the parties and would provide stability and continued leadership within our operations. In the coming weeks, APOC-represented employees will receive more information on the tentative agreement and the ratification voting process.
The most recent collective agreement expired on March 31, 2025. On March 20, 2025, both parties agreed to defer negotiations for approximately one year. The parties resumed negotiations in March 2026 and have worked extensively since then to reach the tentative agreement.
APOC represents all supervisory employees involved in mail operations and mail operation support, as well as commercial sales and service representatives.
