NEGOTIATION UPDATE

The Association and Canada Post will be resuming formal negotiations beginning the week of March 23, 2026.

Our current collective agreement expired on March 31, 2025. On March 20, 2025, the Association and Canada Post agreed to defer negotiations until this time.

Our negotiation team has carefully reviewed the submissions provided by members and has taken into account Minister Lightbound’s September 25, 2025 direction to the Corporation. We are well prepared to begin formal discussions and thank all members for their valuable input and contributions to this process.

Please note that the bargaining process does not include the possibility of a strike or lockout. In addition, formal negotiations are conducted on a confidential basis, and details of discussions will not be disclosed while bargaining is underway.

Upon mutual agreement, updates will continue to be shared throughout the process via our website and on the Corporation’s Negotiations Hub.
