Please be informed that the Association will be moving forward with Arbitration regarding the wrongful withholding of 10% of the 2020 At Risk pay, paid out in April of 2021. Due to the heavy demand being placed on the arbitrators regarding covid hearings, the arbitration is scheduled to occur on the first date of availability in the month of September 2023 and the Association has chosen arbitrator Michelle Flaherty to oversee the case as per Appendix C of the collective agreement. The Association strongly believes that the corporation was not within their rights to withhold a portion (percentage) of the well deserved and well-earned member bonus.
