TENTATIVE AGREEMENT
TENTATIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE APOC COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT
The Association and the Corporation have reached a tentative agreement for the renewal of the Collective Agreement between the parties.
Recognizing the need for continuing the transformation of Canada Post into an e-commerce and parcels centric business that must compete to win, the parties are pleased to have negotiated this tentative agreement in advance of the expiry of the current agreement. This is an important milestone in building a predictable business environment for our customers. The current collective agreement expires on March 31, 2018. The new collective agreement will come into effect on April 1, 2018 for a duration of three (3) years.
This tentative agreement is subject to a ratification vote by employees represented by the Association.
In the coming days, the Association’s negotiation team will communicate the proposed changes to the Collective Agreement to its members, along with information about the ratification process.
