NATIONAL CONSTITUTION

At the 2016 Convention in Quebec City, the Executive Committee agreed that the National Constitution would be translated in full and verified by a team composed of bilingual francophones.

Jean St-Pierre, Québec Branch President was selected as the leader of the Working Group. Jean has been selected base on the experience he acquired on the National Constitution Review Committee in 2015 as well as his involvement at the last Convention in Quebec City.

Jean has been working in collaboration with Rachel Lafontaine, Divisional Vice-president Rideau, and Keinsy Laine, Assistant President of the Montreal Branch.

The team met the week of September 12 and corrected a number of errors in the French translation of the Constitution. Their next meeting is scheduled for the week of October 3rd 2016
