APOC JOB EVALUATION PLAN PROJECT: UPDATE ON FOCUS GROUPS
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with an update on the progress of the APOC Job Evaluation Plan.
During the week of September 15th we completed nearly 20 focus group sessions in Toronto, Ottawa and Montréal. Nearly 220 employees from Operations took part and completed the new Job Information Questionnaire.
The purpose of this initiative was to test and validate the Questionnaire developed by the Joint APOC/CPC committee with comments collected from the last phase of the project (July-September 2007 and September 2008).
We wish to thank all of you who participated in this critical testing. As a result of your input we have improved and simplified the Job Information Questionnaire, and are now ready to conduct additional testing in the Pacific, Prairie and Atlantic regions.
The Joint APOC/CPC committee is working diligently to develop the Job Evaluation Plans, and will be testing for the Sales and Service Job Information Questionnaire in the near future.
Your contribution continues to be of critical value to the creation of the new APOC Job Evaluation Plans. We look forward to your continued support as we work to finalize these plans.
Thank you.
Joint Committee
