DEPARTURE

Dear Colleagues,

It is with mixed feelings and emotions that I am announcing my departure as National President. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 9h45, I will cease to occupy that position within the Association and look to new horizons and opportunities on the road ahead.

I leave my position today for purely family and personal reasons. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to my growth and development, both professionally and personally. You have supported me throughout this extraordinary adventure, and for that, I am extremely grateful.

Together, we have done great things. I have the sense that, working hand in hand with all of you, I helped to move our great, but still young organization, forward. There is still much work to be done, and I have no doubt that you will accomplish all that you set out to achieve.

The team at the National Office stands ready to meet the new challenges facing it, but it will need your support and collaboration. I want to wish the team, and all of you, the best of success in your relations with the employer. I am firmly convinced that our business relationship is critical to the success of both our organization and the Corporation. Together we can succeed; the road ahead will be a long one, but reaching our destination will be all the more gratifying.

I would like to express my deepest thanks to all of you who believed in me and supported me. But I am especially thankful for the opportunity to grow with you. I know that you can all make an outstanding contribution to the work of my successors.
